Historically it’s nice in Kalamalka Provincial Park in July so remember to bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen but you never know it could rain so bring clothing for all types of weather. Also there’s a beach at the start/finish area so maybe a towel would be good too.

Trails & Terrain:
The trails in Kalamalka Provincial Park are a mix of rocks and dirt and can be very dusty. These trails are surrounded by great scenery with the lake and the rocky hills, there should be some great views along the way. There will be sections of the race on double track trails to allow for passing and spreading out of the group however there will be a good portion of single track as well.

Aid Stations:  –
5 km race will not have any aid stations on course however the start / finish area will be fully stocked with Water, Eload (electrolyte drink), Gummies, Chips, Popcorn, and Organic Oranges and Bananas.
10 km race will have 1 aid station that will be stocked with the same items as the start / finish area. Location will be 4.5 km into the race.
21 km race will have 2 aid stations that will be stocked with the same items as the start / finish area. Locations will be at 4.5 km and 11 km and then at the Finish Line.

Make sure to bring water with you on course especially for the 21km when you leave the aid station for the second time you may need it on the lookout trail.
