The North Face Dirty Feet Snowshoe Fun Run & Walk #2 March 4th, 2012

Event Details:

The Dirty Feet Snowshoe Fun Run will be a fun running and walking event for all ages.

The event will be held at Sun Peaks and will consist of  2 distances – Approximately 5km and 10km in distance

Lots of prizes, snacks and hot drinks for everybody, come on out and enjoy the day.

Registration – Register either on line or in person at the Sun Peaks Sports store in the day lodge.

Snowshoe Fun Run and Walk Distances:

5km, 10km distances are available. Snowshoe Walkers are welcome and encouraged to register for 5 km.

Race Package Pick-up

Pick up your race package on Saturday Mar 3rd at the North Face store from 4-6pm. If you are not staying up at Sun Peaks on Saturday you can pick up your race package on race day from 9:30am -10:15am.

Participant Check In:

Begins March 4th at 9:30am at Start/Finish

Snowshoe  Map and Elevation Profile:

Course will be a 5 km loop on the snowshoe and cross country ski trails at Sun Peaks. A Map of the course is now online. Click here to view the map. The snow up there is awesome for snowshoeing.

Pre-walk of the Course:

The pre-walk/run of the course will be Feb 19th either meet at the Husky at 10am or at Sun Peaks P5 parking lot at 11am.  click here for more details. Or follow our  facebook page for updates on when we are going out.

Start Time:

10 km at 10:30am

5 km shortly after the 10km start

Entry Fees:

Both the 5 km and 10 km fun run and walk entry fee is $30 includes HST. Registration is now open.

Registration Deadline:

March 2nd, 2011 at 6:00pm. (No Race Day Registration)
